ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in suburban Oregon, where the access to theatre was somewhat few and far between. I was lucky enough to see the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats when I was three years old, perched on a booster seat to be tall enough to get a good view, and I've been captivated by the theatre ever since.

With the unending help of a wonderfully supportive artistic family, I engaged with the arts in every way that I knew how, taking part in school plays, working with local community groups, and traveling for intensive programs. I had big dreams of going to college to study musical theatre, but I told my counselor that I had only two requirements in what I was looking for in a school: no conservatories, and I was not ready to move to New York. Fate seemed to have a different idea than I did on this one... I wound up moving to New York City to begin my BFA in Musical Theatre at CAP21 Conservatory at Molloy University (Class of 2024). It was exactly what I didn't want, and everything I didn't know I needed.

At CAP21, I fell in love with my first Shakespeare class, and I decided to take a deeper dive into classical work by studying with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, where I worked on explorative voice work, improvisational movement, and deep connection to and analysis of heightened text. This experience gave me an intense obsession with the modern parallels of so many classical theatre pieces, and a goal to make classical theatre feel more accessible to contemporary audiences. â€‹

Directly following my undergraduate training, I relocated to the Glasgow where I am currently pursuing an MFA in Acting for Classical and Contemporary Text at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, during which I have also gotten to study with Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Following the end of my course in January of 2026, I plan on staying in the UK and making a move to London, where I will begin looking for artistic representation and auditioning. Until then, I'll be focusing on my degree, teaching dance classes, eating plenty of sweet treats, and working my job as a bridal stylist which I love and can't shut up about.
